Academic appointees are eligible for a variety of types of leave. The following list of policies explain the various leaves types and give details on who is eligible for such leaves. - For Non-represented Academic Appointees:
- APM 760, Family Accommodations for Childbearing and Childrearing (includes Active Service Modified Duties, which is not a leave)
- For Appointees covered by Collective Bargaining Agreements:
- Unit 18 Lecturers (IX)
- Unit 17 Librarians (LX)
- Academic Researchers (RA) (Professional Researchers, Project Scientists, Specialists, and Coordinators of Public Programs)
